It is dedicated to Saint Jacob leading us to think that it is on the Camino de Santiago (the way of St. James).
It was built in 1830 according to an investigation made on places of worship in 1899. The name of Villette probably reminds us of an early Middle Ages establishment of minor importance considering the diminutive.
