Classes, workshops and courses in painting/oil pastel techniques. Open to all. Group or private lessons by appointment. For an initiation or several courses. On-site accommodation available at La Bastida Flora.

For everyone – All material is provided.
You will spend a very pleasant creative moment in an artist workshop. The place is beautiful with a magnificent view of the Lure mountain.
You are guided by Nathalie Le Royer, artist and art therapist.
In the garden, on the covered terrace or inside the workshop, the atmosphere is friendly, everyone can leave with his picture.

The workshop is located in the Cottage Bastide flora, a charming 17th century Bastide with ininterrupted views on the mountains, in the picturesque hamlet Saint-Jurson. This is a lovely place for inspiration, 7 minutes south of Digne les Bains (left after the Golf of Digne les Bains, direction Mezel).
You will also see Saint-Jurson, the small stone chapel with its sundial, the old stone houses, the bread oven, the forest walks with beautiful views, the pretty lavender fields on the road leading to the hamlet.
You will discover or improve on pastel oil techniques.
Created to prolong the gesture of the hand, the oil pastels are used like a pencil, once fades, superimposed, we get a rendering comparable to oil painting. You will enjoy melting the colors together.
Open all year round at usual class times or on demand from 2 people registred.
During school holidays, open Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 14:30 or on demand from 2 people registred.
