From Manosque, take the D907 towards Apt. Don’t miss a detour to Montfuron. This pretty little village, perched at an altitude of 675m, has a stone windmill, built 350 years ago, which sits proudly atop a hill.

Continue your itinerary on the D907 to reach the intersection with the D4100. Cross the crossroads to take the D14 which leads to Reillanne, a village with a rich prehistoric past.

Continue the route by the D201 to Viens, a small village of the Vaucluse, perched on its rocky peak, which has kept its appearance of a medieval stronghold. Continue the itinerary by the D33 and D22 to Rustrel, a village leaning against the foot of the Plateau d’Albion. It is worth the detour for its amazing ochre cliffs, called the “Colorado Provençal”.
