Chapelle St Vincent

Chapelle St Vincent

Discover this chapel through the 3 chapels trail. The chapel already has been in existance since the 12th century.

Headquarters of a priory and then of a Trinitarian convent founded in 1495, demolished during religious wars, rebuilt in 1597, it was already in a bad state in 1606 but lived through the centuries. It has the remains of a romanesque structure, south wall in grey schist limestone, discharging rowlock arch. It was resold in 1779, turned into an agricultural building in 1790 and came back to the diocese at the end of the 19th century. It was partially restored in 1950 and then abandoned again.
